API Integration

Part of Business Automation Agency

Stop moving data between tools by hand.

The exports, the copy-paste, the spreadsheet that lives between two systems because they won’t talk — that’s work a connection should be doing. We build custom API integrations so your tools share data on their own, with error handling and logging so nothing drops silently. You own the result.

What is API integration?

API integration is connecting two or more pieces of software so they share data automatically through their APIs. An API is the door a tool exposes for other software to read and write its data. Integration wires those doors together, so an event in one system — a new order, an updated record, a paid invoice — triggers the right change in another without a person moving it across. It can run in real time or on a schedule. Done properly, it includes error handling, logging and monitoring, so a failure is visible instead of silent. The result is that your tools stop being islands, and the manual step between them disappears.

Why integrate your systems?

Because the gap between two tools is where time and accuracy go to die. Someone exports a file from the CRM every Monday and imports it into the finance system, and every so often they miss a row, or paste it twice, or forget entirely. The data’s out of date the moment it’s copied, and nobody trusts a report built on it. Multiply that across every pair of tools that should share information and you’ve got a business running on manual sync — expensive, slow, and quietly wrong.

Integration removes the person from the middle. The systems stay in step on their own, the data’s current, and the hours spent shuttling it disappear.

It’s rarely the flashiest automation, but it’s often the one that pays back fastest.

What does success look like?

Six weeks after go-live, the tools you already pay for finally act like one system. Data moves between your CRM, ops and finance software on its own, the double-entry stops, and the reports that used to need someone stitching exports together build themselves. Nobody’s copying fields between tabs, and nothing falls through the gap between two systems that never used to talk. The integration just runs — quietly, correctly, in the background.

API integration FAQs

It’s connecting two pieces of software so they share data automatically through their APIs — the interfaces built for exactly this. Instead of someone exporting a spreadsheet from one tool and importing it into another, a change in one system shows up in the other on its own, in real time or on a schedule you choose.

Common, and usually solvable. We fall back to webhooks, file exports, or a scraper where a tool genuinely has no way in. We’ll tell you which case yours is, and what it costs, before you commit — some integrations are clean and some are a workaround, and you should know which you’re buying.

It can, which is why we build with error handling and monitoring so a failure surfaces immediately instead of silently dropping data. Most breakages are small and quick to fix. If you keep us on, we watch for them; either way you get logs, so you can see exactly what happened.

Zapier is great for simple, standard connections and we’ll tell you when it’s the right tool. We build the ones Zapier can’t — complex logic, high volume, tools it doesn’t support, or where per-task pricing gets expensive. Often it’s a mix: Zapier where it fits, custom where it counts.

A single clean integration is often days, not weeks. A set of them across several systems runs longer. We scope it, give you a fixed price and a date, and build in a way you can test before it goes live on real data.

Yes — the code, the credentials, the logic are all yours, running on infrastructure you control. It’s documented at handover so any developer can maintain it. Nothing about it depends on us keeping the keys.

Integrations sit within our usual $3,000–$15,000 build range, toward the lower end for a single connection. You get a fixed quote up front. There’s no per-task fee — once it’s built, it runs.
